SORRENTO VALLEY, CA (September 16, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained injuries after a pickup hit him near Eastgate Drive on September 13.
 
The accident involving a Nissan Frontier pickup occurred about 9:25 a.m. near Eastgate Drive and Eastgate Mall. In addition, polisce stated the accident located east of 805 Freeway.
 
According to San Diego Fire-Rescuee spokeswoman Monica Munoz, responders arrived to the scene. After that, they transported the male victim to Scripps Memorial Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
However, the Nissan driver stayed at the scene.
 
Police did not release any additional information. However, authorities are still investigating the collision at this time.
