COACHELLA, CA (August 28, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a train accident on Grapefruit Boulevard on August 24.
 
The paramedics responded to the train accident on Grapefruit Boulevard and Leoco Lane around 2:35 a.m. Upon their arrival, they found the injured person.
 
Responders transported the injured to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
The cause of the collision remains undisclosed as of this time. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the collision.
 
The identity and condition of the pedestrian are still unidentified.
