59-year-old hospitalized after a car accident on Civic Center Drive and South Santa Fe Avenue in Vista

 
San Diego, CA (April 9, 2020) – Wednesday night, a 59-year-old male pedestrian sustained severe injuries after a car accident at the Civic Center Drive in Vista.
 
Authorities responded to the accident at around 8:41 p.m on April 8. First responders arrived at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and South Santa Fe Avenue.
 
According to CHP reports, the man was walking westbound across Civic Center Drive when he was hit by an oncoming southbound car.
 
As a result of the extreme impact, the pedestrian sustained severe injuries, and was immediately taken to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
 
However, there is no updates on his condition as of yet.
 
Meanwhile, information about the driver is also yet to be released.
