1 Killed in Las Vegas Train Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 22, 2019) – A pedestrian died in a train accident near Owens Avenue on August 21.
Reports revealed that a Union Pacific train hit and killed a pedestrian. In addition, police stated it happened near Owens Avenue and Stocker Street around 7:45 a.m.
About 7:45 a.m., a Union Pacific train struck and fatally injured a pedestrian. The pedestrian occurred near Owens Avenue and Stocker Street, according to a statement from the railroad.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, North Vegas Police Department and EMS all came to the scene.
Meanwhile, the train crew didn’t suffer any injury.
