Pedestrian Killed in Interstate 80 Collision [Rocklin, CA]

Rocklin, CA (August 13, 2024) – A pedestrian was fatally injured following an Interstate 80 collision Tuesday morning.

It was about 4:30 a.m. when the pedestrian crash happened on westbound freeway between Rocklin Road and Highway 65.

Troopers said the pedestrian was trying to cross the highway but was struck by several vehicles.

Sadly, the victim was killed in the accident.

CHP is investigating this fatal collision and advised motorists of possible delays in the area.
