Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Fallbrook

 
FALLBROOK, CA (May 16, 2019) – A 71-year-old man died Wednesday in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on East Mission Road at Iowa Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white SUV struck the 71-year-old man as he crossed East Mission Road around 5 a.m. The driver, however, failed to stop and instead, fled the scene.
 
The unidentified man died at the scene, leaving authorities to piece together what had happened.
