Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Fatal Crash Near Church Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (December 26, 2019) – A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Golden State Boulevard on early Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Church Avenue at approximately 3:00 AM.
 
Reports from the Fresno Police showed that a Chevrolet Silverado struck a pedestrian crossing the street. The witness said the driver slowed down after the crash. However, the driver did not stop at the scene.
 
The victim died at the scene. However, the name and age of the man is not released.
 
Investigators described the vehicle as a 2012-2013 Chevy Silverado with a double cab that had a motorcycle or ATV in the truck bed. In addition, anyone with information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.
