La Quinta, CA (December 19, 2020) – On Friday, a pedestrian was killed in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Highway 111 and Dune Palms Road.
 
The fatal incident happened at around 7:15 p.m. wherein the pedestrian died on the scene.
 
Apparently, the suspect immediately fled the scene after the incident.
 
Also, the authorities do not have an available description of the suspect’s vehicle.
 
Traffic in the area was affected by the incident.
 
The authorities closed Dune Palms Road and Highway 111 for westbound traffic and asked drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
