Richmond, CA (August 20, 2020) – Thursday afternoon, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash in the 500 blocks of 23rd Street.
 
The incident happened before 4 p.m. on August 20. Dispatched officers responded and found the victim lying in the roadway.
 
Witness statements, as well as videos, described the suspect vehicle the late 1990s to early 2000s Toyota Avalon, gold-colored with a sunroof and rear-tinted windows. It is missing the rear passenger side hubcap, and the car “has distinct damage to the rear driver’s side passenger door.” Police said.
 
Moreover, the vehicle should also have damage to the front passenger side headlight and windshield area.
