LVMPD Investigates Las Vegas Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash
Las Vegas, NV (September 9, 2023) – On Friday morning, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a Fort Apache Road collision.
The traffic accident took place at about 5:07 a.m. near the area of Peace Way.
Witnesses said they had observed the victim in the roadway before the accident happened. Just then, a white SUV struck the victim, initially stopped but drove from the scene minutes later.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the crash scene.
The LVMPD officers are searching for a newer model white Jeep Wrangler with a black roof and black rims. LVMPD said the vehicle will have damage to its right front.
Officers are investigating.
