Police Investigate Fatal Jeep VS Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach

Long Beach, CA (March 29, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a pedestrian died in a crash on Pacific Coast Highway.

The fatal crash in Long Beach happened at around 8:05 a.m. on March 29.

Long Beach Police responded to the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Rose Avenue.

Reportedly, a male pedestrian attempted to cross Pacific Coast Highway outside of a crosswalk when struck by a Jeep.

Paramedics took the man to the hospital but he later died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, the Jeep driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators. 

Police said distracted driving, impaired driving, and speed were not believed to be a factor in the collision.
