Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Sepulveda Boulevard [Van Nuys, CA]

Van Nuys, CA (July 11, 2024) – A man between 60 to 70 years old was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sepulveda Boulevard Sunday night.

The fatal collision happened around 8:55 p.m. at the intersection with Haynes Street.

Troopers said the victim was hit by a southbound vehicle as he walked outside of a crosswalk crossing mid-block.

LAFD paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver, on the other hand, drove south on Sepulveda Boulevard without stopping.
