1 Dead in El Cajon Pedestrian Accident on Kumeyaay Highway

 
EL CAJON, CA (August 24, 2020) – Sunday morning, a pedestrian died in a crash on Kumeyaay Highway in El Cajon.
 
The fatal crash occurred just before 3:30 a.m. on westbound Kumeyaay (8) Highway, east of Mollison Avenue in El Cajon.
 
According to reports, at least two vehicles struck the pedestrian. Afterward, one of these cars, probably a four-door sedan, suffered major damage to its left side.
 
By 4:58 a.m., authorities requested a coroner’s office representative to the crash scene.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash on Kumeyaay Highway. Once additional details become available, the public will be informed.
