CHP Investigates Fatal Crash on Highway 50 in Sacramento

Sacramento, CA (November 17, 2022) – Thursday evening, a pedestrian died in a crash on Highway 50 westbound and the 26th Street off-ramp.

The fatal crash in Sacramento happened at around 6:48 p.m. on November 17.

CHP said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. That person sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said that they do not think drugs or alcohol affected the accident.
