The fatal crash in Rancho Cordova happened on December 23. 

Sacramento County Sheriffs said a pedestrian died after they were hit by a vehicle on the westbound Hwy. 50 on ramp at Sunrise Boulevard.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries.
