26-Year-Old Woman Killed Car Collision near Koval Lane in Las Vegas

 
Las Vegas, NV (April 4, 2020) – Saturday evening, a female pedestrian was killed in an auto crash at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.
 
Police received reports of the collision around 7:30 p.m., on April 4. Dispatchers arrived at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, shortly after.
 
Moreover, the 26-year-old woman was crossing the intersection diagonally outside of the marked crosswalk. There, an eastbound 2018 Dodge Ram van struck her.
 
Due to the impact of the collision, the woman was suffering from life-threatening injuries. Medics later transported her to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the 71-year-old man driving the van remained on scene and cooperated with officials. Police say he showed no signs of impairment.
 
Authorities closed the intersection for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, it was later re-opened to the traffic.
