Pedestrian Killed after Struck by Car on Highway 101 at Valley Circle Boulevard [WOODLAND HILLS, CA]

Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 in Woodland Hills Turns Deadly

 
WOODLAND HILLS, CA (August 25, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car early Sunday morning in Woodland Hills.
 
The crash happened around 12:18 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of Highway 101 at Valley Circle Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the third lane of the highway when the individual was hit by a dark-colored sedan.
 
Officers arrived and found the body lying on the roadway. Paramedics pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver remained or fled the scene.
 
Authorities are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
