Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car on West Rosamond Boulevard [ROSAMOND, CA]

Fatal Evening Pedestrian Crash near 45th Street West

 
ROSAMOND, CA (July 17, 2019) – An unidentified pedestrian was fatally struck by a car on West Rosamond Boulevard, Wednesday evening.
 
The fatal incident took place around 8:27 p.m., near 45th Street West. Reports also indicate that a dark green Honda Accord was involved.
 
Arriving paramedics administered aid on the injured pedestrian, but were unsuccessful. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the impact.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Officer will release the identity of the victim once family members have been notified.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP did not specify if the driver of the car involved stopped after the incident. The cause of the crash still remains under investigation.
