1 Dead in Santa Cruz Pedestrian Crash on Mission Street and King Street

 
SANTA CRUZ, CA (November 8, 2020) – Thursday night, a pedestrian died in an accident on Mission Street and King Street in Santa Cruz.
 
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 6:45 p.m. Reports revealed that a 45-year-old Santa Cruz man walked across Mission Street in a marked crosswalk. However, a northbound vehicle struck him.
 
Upon the arrival of the first responders, they attempted to save the victim. Then, they transported him to Dominican Hospital. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
 
Moreover, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the victim.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash. Furthermore, they are urging anyone with information about the crash to contact Sgt. Morey at 831-420-5857.
