1 Pedestrian Fatality on Interstate 8 in Mission Valley Crash

 
San Diego, CA (March 22, 2020) – An unidentified pedestrian was killed after a fatal accident westbound on Interstate 8 in Mission Valley, Sunday evening on March 20.
 
The California Police Department responded upon receiving the reports after 8:15 p.m of the scene on westbound I-8 near Hotel Circle.
 
Additionally, CHP reports have yet to disclose any information on the age, gender, and name of the victim.
 
The person’s name will be withheld pending notification of their family.
 
On the other hand, the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and sustained no injuries. No further information is available on the driver.
 
The crash was reported to be blocking two lanes at the time of the accident.
 
Furthermore, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
