Reginald Vertison Arrested in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 23, 2019) – A person sustained critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on Desert Inn Road on August 21.
Around 10:00 p.m., officers responded to West Desert Inn Road and Canyon Lake Drive, near South Fort Apache Road.
63-year-old Kenneth Toll just crossed Desert Inn Road when a westbound 2016 Kia Optima driver hit him.
Responders transported Kenneth Toll to the hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the Kia driver, 55-year-old Reginald Vertison, remained at the scene. However, Vertison showed signs of impairment.
Authorities arrested Vertison on suspicion of DUI. The police booked him into the Clark County Detention Center. Reginald Vertison faces one count of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm.
The crash remains under investigation.
