Maple Valley (June 06, 2020)– A pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on SR-169, on June 6. Police arrested the suspect after fleeing the scene.
 
Reportedly, the pedestrian was in a crosswalk near four corners when the driver struck the person. However, the driver immediately fled the scene, leading a police pursuit.
 
Moreover, as deputies pursuing the suspect, the driver rammed a police car and eventually crashed.
As a result, the suspect and the injured deputy transported to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the pedestrian suffered a possible fracture and is undergoing treatment. Further investigation is ongoing.
