Justin Ardagh Dies in Truckee DUI Hit and Run, Stephen Lally Arrested
Truckee, CA (April 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, a pedestrian named Justin “Shuba” Ardagh, 25, died after in a hit-and-run crash on Jibboom Street.
Officers responded to the scene at around 10:30 p.m. at the Bridge Street intersection in downtown Truckee.
When they arrived, they located the unconscious victim with a severe head injury.
Responders immediately took the injured pedestrian, of Truckee, to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.
Even so, Mr. Ardagh was pronounced dead over the weekend.
Meanwhile, officers identified Stephen Andrew Lally, 32, to be the suspect in the incident.
Apparently, he struck the pedestrian with a red Subaru sedan.
They charged the Truckee man with felony DUI and a felony hit-and-run.
Currently, he is free on bond, according to reports.
