Police Searches for Sierra Street Hit-and-Run Crash Suspect Injuring Pedestrian
Reno, NV (July 11, 2021) – On July 3, a pedestrian was injured in Sierra Street hit-and-run crash.
Investigating officers said the incident took place at about 9 p.m. at Island Avenue.
Responders transported the pedestrian to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the suspect vehicle did not stop to render aid, but fled the scene before the officers arrived.
Authorities are searching for the suspect and the involved vehicle. Witnesses described it as a red late 90’s or early 2000’s Jeep Cherokee . They said it has black aftermarket wheels and several stickers affixed to the rear window.
