Police Investigate Auto-Pedestrian Crash  Coors Blvd in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (April 10, 2025) – A pedestrian sustained severe injuries in a crash on Coors Blvd. 

At 8:25 PM, a vehicle struck a pedestrian at Coors Blvd and La Orilla Rd NW. The Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers and emergency personnel found a severely injured individual. 

AFR’s Rescue 18 transported the victim to the University of New Mexico Hospital for treatment.

To investigate the crash, APD, Police Service Aides, and Metro Security Officers blocked off multiple traffic lanes.

 Authorities closed northbound Coors between La Orilla and Roberson Ln, and lane closures may change as the investigation continues.
