Fresno, CA (April 10, 2021) – On Friday, a male pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash on East Olive Street.
 
The fatal crash took place at about 1:00 a.m. at the North Thorne Avenue intersection.
 
Apparently, the victim was sitting on the sidewalk when a passing vehicle drove onto the walkway and struck him.
 
The driver immediately took off after the incident.
 
Emergency responders took the pedestrian to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno. There is no update on his condition.
 
Meanwhile, officers did not provide a description of the vehicle that struck the victim.
