Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Dexter Avenue North [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (July 28, 2021) – On Tuesday, a 30-year-old male, an encampment resident, suffers serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Dexter Avenue North.

The accident happened at around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection with Mercer Street, near the encampment.

When responders arrived, they took the victim to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. 

Investigating officers said the driver and passenger fled from the scene and called 911 to report the crash. 

Apparently, the three were in some sort of altercation before the accident happened.

Meanwhile, officers are working to determine what exactly happened and if there is probable cause for arrest. 

No arrests have been made as of yet.
