Pedestrian Injured in East Speedway Boulevard Crash [Tucson, AZ]

Pedestrian Hospitalized Struck By Vehicle in East Speedway Boulevard

Tucson, AZ (December 18, 2021) On Thursday, a crash on East Speedway Boulevard sent a pedestrian to the hospital.

Authorities say that a car hit the pedestrian on Speedway near Euclid.

Moreover, the eastbound Speedway Boulevard was unavailable as police were investigating the probable cause of the crash.

Furthermore, motorists are to use Grant Street and Campbell Avenue as alternate routes.

When driving, it is important to follow all driving laws and the conditions of the road. If you see any vehicle or driver that looks dangerous, keep your distance. If you see a vehicle weaving in and out of the lanes, following too closely, or traveling at a higher rate of speed, move over a few lanes and get out of their way. Drive defensively to ensure the safety of surrounding vehicles, drivers, and pedestrians.

It is important to always abide by all traffic laws and to do your part to prevent devastating consequences to you and others. Thus, if you find yourself unable to safely operate a vehicle, there are always other options for transportation.
