The incident happened at around 11:25 p.m. on West Mission Road near North Las Posas Road.
 
According to San Diego sheriff’s Lt. Mike Krugh, the incident happened just west of Palomar College.
 
Also, Krugh confirmed that the male pedestrian was not expected to survive.
