YUMA, AZ (July 17, 2022) – Saturday morning, a pedestrian suffered injuries in a crash on South Avenue 5 E.
 
The incident occurred just before 3:00 a.m. in the 12-100 block of South Avenue 5 E.
 
According to reports, a driver parked a car on the west shoulder of the roadway. Then, a southbound pickup truck on the county road veered off the road. Then, the pickup struck the car and the driver who went out of the car at the time of the crash.
 
As a result, responders took the pedestrian to Yuma Regional Medical Center and then transferred them to a Phoenix-area hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the truck driver suffered no injuries. At this time, the authorities do not believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
