1 Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Iowa Street

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 1, 2020) – On March 29, a 45-year-old male pedestrian sustained injuries in a collision on Iowa Street.
 
According to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle, the incident happened on Sunday, just after 5:00 p.m. on the Iowa Street and El Cajon Boulevard intersection.
 
Buttle added that a man in his 40s driving westbound in a Honda Civic struck the male pedestrian. According to reports, the pedestrian was crossing with his bicycle despite at a red light.
 
Then, the pedestrian was struck in the northbound crosswalk.
 
During the crash, the pedestrian slid into the hood of the vehicle and onto the windshield.
 
Aside from that, there are no further details provided as of this time.
