Pedestrian Injured after Hit by Vehicle at Roseville Road and Madison Avenue [NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA]

Morning Pedestrian Crash on Roseville Road in North Highlands

 
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (May 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle Monday morning in North Highlands.
 
The crash happened around 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of Roseville Road and Madison Avenue, just North of Airbase Drive.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying on the ground. A tan Ford vehicle with a broken windshield was blocking the roadway.
 
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The incident remains under investigation.
 
Whenever you are about to leave a driveway, be sure to properly scan the roadway before you enter. Look left, right, and then left again before you proceed. Also, check for pedestrians and bicyclists that might be on the road or sidewalk. Little things like this can prevent a major collision from happening.
