JURUPA VALLEY, CA (December 7, 2020) – Friday night, a pedestrian suffered injuries in an accident on Mission Boulevard and Glen Street.
 
The incident occurred at 7:35 p.m. on Mission Boulevard and Glen Street.
 
Upon the arrival of first responders, they located an unconscious man lying on the road. Afterward, they found out that a silver 2006 Toyota Tundra hit him, said Sgt. Saykham Iemsisanith.
 
Thus, deputies tried to initiate life-saving measures. Then, paramedics took him to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver stayed at the scene and helped with the investigation. Afterward responders transported the driver to the Jurupa Valley sheriff’s station for questioning.
 
Furthermore, authorities ruled out that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
