1 Hurt in Simi Valley Pedestrian Crash on First Street and Pacific Avenue

 
SIMI VALLEY, CA (November 3, 2020) – Sunday night, a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in an accident on First Street and Pacific Avenue.
 
The crash occurred at about 6:08 p.m. on First Street and Pacific Avenue, south of Los Angeles Avenue. According to firefighters, the person injured in the crash suffered a head injury and is in critical condition.
 
Responders took the 30-year-old Simi Valley man via ambulance to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks. Moreover, by Monday morning, he stayed in critical condition.
 
The police department confirmed that a northbound SUV on First Street struck the pedestrian. Furthermore, they added that the pedestrian walked across the street in front of the SUV.
 
Meanwhile, the SUV driver remained at the scene and made the initial 911 report.
 
Due to the incident, the First Street between Los Angeles and Royal avenues remained closed for several hours during the investigation.
