GILROY, CA (June 10, 2020) – Monday night, a pedestrian required hospitalization after a train crash on Gilroy Caltrain Station.
 
Spokesperson Tasha Bartholomew said that the crash occurred about 7:00 p.m., north of Gilroy Caltrain Station. The train with 6 passengers traveled south. However, it struck the pedestrian trespassing on the tracks.
 
“Emergency personnel are on scene and have taken the individual to a local hospital for observation,” added Bartholomew.
 
Moreover, the crash caused trains to stop in the area.
 
Furthermore, the incident didn’t injure any of the train occupants.
