Pedestrian Hospitalized in East Bellevue Road Accident [Atwater, CA]

Rescuers Respond to Atwater Pedestrian Collision

Atwater, CA (November 28, 2022) – On Saturday, a pedestrian sustained injuries following an East Bellevue Road accident.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 5:53 p.m. to a report of a pedestrian struck by a westbound Dodge Durango in the 100 block area.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the pedestrian to a Modesto-area hospital for treatment of significant but non-life-threatening leg injury.

The driver, on the other hand, remained on scene and cooperated with the authorities. 

Investigating officers said alcohol was not a factor in the Atwater pedestrian collision. Atwater police ask anyone with information to contact the department at 209-357-6384 and ask for Officer Salazar.
