Truck Critically Injures Pedestrian Following Crash on West Sunset Road

 
Las Vegas, CA (October 30, 2020) – A crash on West Sunset Road and South Valley View left a pedestrian critical on Thursday morning.
 
The crash took place on October 29 at about 4:36 a.m. on West Sunset Road and South Valley View.
 
Las Vegas police Lt. Daryl Rhodes reported that the crash prompted the closure of the intersection. Rhodes said that a truck was eastbound on Sunset Valley View with a green light when it hit the pedestrian.
 
Officials reported that the truck that had a U.S Postal Service logo, stopped after the incident. Furthermore, articles of clothing were also found in the roadway.
 
Due to the impact of the crash, authorities transported the pedestrian to the hospital and was in critical condition. However, there have been no updates regarding the victim’s current condition.
 
Further details were not immediately available.
