Woman Undergoes Surgery Following North San Fernando Road Hit-and-Run Crash
Burbank, CA (July 3, 2020)– A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on North San Fernando Road on Wednesday night.
On July 1, a woman in her 50s was walking at the 7300 block of North San Fernando Road. At about 9:10 p.m., a pickup truck hit the woman near the Burbank Airport Metrolink rail station. The Los Angeles police reported that the pickup truck sped away after the incident.
As a result, the woman was critically injured due to the extent of the crash. She was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery. Furthermore, the police said that the woman was in critical condition.
The truck was identified as a white GMC pickup. As of the moment, it is still unclear what events led up to the incident.
