BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 5, 2019)—A man perished during Tuesday’s pedestrian crash after he’d been struck by a train near Truxtun Avenue and Sonora Street.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police, the incident unfolded around 2:20 p.m. Police arrived to find a man suffering from major injuries; however just moments later, a coroner arrived at the scene.
