Reno Pedestrian Accident on Keystone Avenue and Jones Street

 
RENO, NV (November 14, 2019)—A pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a driver near Keystone Avenue and Jones Street Tuesday evening.
 
According to reports, the accident befell around 6:30 p.m. Authorities believe the woman was jaywalking at the intersection when a driver, unable to spot her, struck her.
 
Following the accident, the driver stayed at the scene while paramedics transported the woman, who sustained head and leg injuries, to a local hospital.
 
Investigators believe impairment did not play a role in the crash but plan to investigate the details further.
 
As a result, commuters faced a closure at southbound Keystone Avenue for an hour.
