SAN DIEGO, CA (October 12, 2019) – A woman was hit by a vehicle as she ran across Interstate 8, Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 10:34 AM. Due to unknown reasons, the woman was running across westbound traffic lanes. There, a dark BMW SUV struck the pedestrian near Kensington.
 
Updates on the victim’s current condition remain unknown. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
San Diego police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
