Man Dies in Fontana Accident, Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Arrow Boulevard

 
FONTANA, CA (June 26, 2019) – A man died Tuesday morning in Tuesday’s pedestrian crash at Arrow Boulevard near Palmetto Avenue.
 
The 35-year-old man from Fontana died at a local hospital, just moments after the collision.
 
According to authorities, a vehicle struck the pedestrian outside of a marked crosswalk as he walked northbound across Arrow Boulevard. Reports noted that the vehicle–a Saturn Ion–was traveling westbound on Arrow Boulevard around 12:42 a.m. before the accident.
 
Crews closed off Arrow Boulevard for three hours while the Fontana Police Department investigated the scene. However, because details are limited, detectives plan to investigate this case further.
