Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Pacific Highway South [Des Moines, WA]

Des Moines, WA (January 04, 2022) – On Monday, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Pacific Highway South.

The fatal big rig accident took place at about 7:28 a.m. at the intersection with South Kent Des Moines Road.

When the authorities arrived, they found the victim dead on the crash scene.

Witnesses said the victim trying to cross Pacific Highway South out of a crosswalk. Then, a large commercial big rig turned right from South Kent Des Moines Road and struck the victim.
