When someone dies or killed due to another person’s negligence or misconduct, the bereaved can sue the negligent parties for the damages that they caused.
Some of the instances that could result in a wrongful death are homicide, medical malpractice, transportation accidents just like what happened in this crash. It could be any other instance caused by the wrongdoing of another person.
In filing for a wrongful death case, it is important to know that there is a time limit on when family members can take legal action.
These restrictions are called the statute of limitations. It only allows the bereaved to file a wrongful death lawsuit within a certain amount of time.
