1 Dead in Willits Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near Ridgewood Summit
WILLITS, CA (January 11, 2022) – Monday, a pedestrian died in a crash on Highway 101 near Ridgewood Street.
According to a reporting party, they thought they struck a pedestrian at 6:40 p.m. Also, the report stated that the pedestrian pushed a shopping car near the Ridgewood Summit south of Willits.
When the authorities arrived, they found the shopping cart on the road. They also found debris from the vehicle that hit the pedestrian.
At around 6:58 p.m., the authorities declared that the pedestrian died.
Meanwhile, the reporting party who turns out to be the involved driver remained near the scene after the crash.
