1 Person Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Avenue and 27th Street

 
LONG BEACH, CA (January 2, 2023) – Saturday night, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Pacific Avenue and 27th Street.
 
The incident happened at around 6:45 p.m. on Pacific Avenue and 27th Street.
 
According to the Long Beach Police, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian as they crossed the roadway outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the collision. Moments later, two more vehicles struck the victim who was already down on the pavement. The two drivers remained at the scene to wait for the responders.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that the victim died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
