Eureka, CA (March 3, 2021) – Tuesday night, a pedestrian sustained critical injuries after a crash on 5th Street.
 
The Eureka crash happened just after 10 p.m on March 2, near the 1500 block.
 
Eureka police said a 20-year-old driver from Arcata was traveling Northbound on 5th Street when he hit a pedestrian near the 1500 block.
 
Emergency crews took the pedestrian to the hospital in critical condition.
