Los Angeles, CA (March 28, 2025) Early Thursday morning, a 22-year-old skateboarder was killed in a horrific pedestrian crash on Mariposa Avenue.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 5:50 a.m. at Mariposa Avenue and Sixth Street.

Reports say that a hit-and-run driver fatally struck a 22-year-old skateboarder early Thursday morning in Koreatown.

Authorities say that a vehicle traveling north on Catalina Avenue turned left onto Sixth Street and hit the skateboarder. The driver fled the scene, and authorities have not yet released a description of the vehicle.
