Austin Police Investigates Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash near Montopolis Drive

Austin, TX (September 8, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a person was pronounced dead at the scene in a pedestrian crash on East Ben White Boulevard.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the fatal crash happened near Montopolis Drive at about 1:48 p.m.

Austin Police and Fire Department responded to the fatal auto-pedestrian crash.

Police are investigating the auto-pedestrian crash and have not provided additional information at this time.
