According to San Bernardino Police, the frightening crash happened around 10:01 p.m. at the northeast corner of 9th Street and G Street.

San Bernardino Police, County Fire, and AMR responded to the vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision.

Emergency crews found a person who had been possibly run over by an Edison utility truck.

Responders transported the injured pedestrian to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries remains unknown.

The utility truck driver stayed at the scene.

Authorities are investigating whether the pedestrian was walking through or resting in the dirt lot at the time of the incident.
